This is some funny shit...

Gkk you have some real options though. I've been doing a little research on wandering around the world and there are two things you can do.

1. Get a re-mailing service in Florida. They have these set up for full time people that live on sailboats... ;) They keep your mail in Florida and mail you your checks at regular intervals, or have them just mail you your checks as soon as they get them, etc... You give them instructions. This way you get a USA address like everyone else -- and then you could have all your checks sent express from the US.

2. I was researching Costa Rica. The mail system there is pretty slow because of the way they tell directions down there -- it's all sortof by landmarks and shit... So there's an association you can join and you have an address in the US (for your magazine subscriptions and checks, etc...) and then all the mail comes through the association a lot quicker than it would be delivered through the mail. Who knows maybe the Japanese govt. is screening your shit -- one of my late checks from AP came opened once -- that was fucked up...! But I'm sure you could find some group or association that shuttles mail back and forth from the USA to Japan faster.
