Hehe I went to a "buck and doe" that we held for my best friend last night.
A buck and doe is a party we throw and we invite all the friends of the bride and the groom and their families. It's basically like a fundraiser to help the couple pay for at least part of their wedding. I was working the cash last night and I think I sold a few thousand in drink tickets alone. I think I drank about $100 worth of booze myself
All my friends seem to be married now or in the midst or getting married. We're 27-29 which seems to be the average age now of people around here. I say get married when you are ready and you know you have the right person. I just always recommend that you go out and get wild and crazy for a couple of years before you decide to settle down. Too many of my buddies married their high school sweethearts and never had the chance to play the field. Then 5 years later they are bored as shit...
Anyways I've found the right person and I am taking the plunge. Wish me luck!
