I think women are more concerned about it because society says after a certain age, they're not attractive enough to find a mate any longer. Female youth is prized.
Statistically men have a far greater chance of getting married at just about any age and getting re-married after a divorce. Maybe this will change in the next generation as women continue to gain more financial power and outdated taboos of younger men with older women continue to be broken.
