That's because the government doesn't want public to see the tragedy. They want people to support the war, they show off media where people are cheerfully leaving to fight for their country. Waving their girlfriends goodbye and so forth.. no way in hell are they going to show that same girlfriends expression when her boyfriend comes back in a coffin. It's jus the way it is.
Do NOT show the public the downside of warfare and they support it.
