black on white crime is way more common than white on black, at least over the last 40 years. Any white on black hate crime is liable to be hugely publicized in the media, however, leading to perceptions that the US is still Selma, AL 1962.
That being said I'm never leery of blacks, unless I'm in the ghetto after dark, which is a place I rarely have a good
