Yah, it's over $1,000 per tooth you need done. Sometimes $2-3k for a root canal and cap depending on the dentist and procedures done.

Insurance usually doesn't cover caps since it's an elective procedure. They will cover having your tooth pulled or a metal cap but not the more expensive cap that looks just like a tooth and is basically undetectable to the casual observer.

My wife had a few of these done last year and is getting more done in a month or so. It's costing me a fortune.
