Stop flying then, the pilots that are packing are a very closely guarded secret. The pilots take the same course as the Federal Air Marshals take, on top of that, there are a number of hoops the pilots must jump through even to take the classes.
Now as far as the fear of a rapid decompression from a bullet piercing the cabin, the best information about Air Marshal ammo is they're using frangible bullets. (Likely a 80-grain projectile with a compressed core of No. 6 shot) which scatter pellets into the wound channel, causing massive blood loss, shock and death.
It will spoil your whole day getting hit by one.
