You can pick up the phone cheap in groceries and dept stores, and with some phones, you can call them and they will set it up to use the phone you have.
They have all sorts of options as well.

I'm not looking for a prepaid phone. I hate it when you're suddenly out of money.
It's not a temporary thing either. I'm moving to the US and doing some research.
