Trixie, you can have a gun here in the CZ if you have a licence. But not many people wear guns here.
Giorgio, if you want to live in Prague's historic downtown, expect to pay 60k-100k CZK per sqm (= roughly $2,300-$3,800). That's usually without any equipment (like kitchen, etc.) and parking. BTW Londynska street in Vinohrady is a nice place, I used to live there for a couple of years.
