there are no current laws that require a person to be of a certain age to get any piercings in Vegas.
It is a personal choice for each shop owner...he will not do facials for anyone under 18 and will do bellies for 16...but he said he would not be surprised if someone in the area would do it...but would not call them reputable.

I'm not saying it's right. It isn't. Children should be children for as long as possible. They aren't ready for most of what comes down the pike, until they're at a certain age.
I've seen parents try real hard to keep their children age appropriate.
The results vary.
To blame television or parents totally isn't appropriate, either. I know how hard I tried and my son still did it. Does that make me a bad parent? Maybe. But, I know I tried like hell to keep his activities limited to what I thought was age appropriate. He had other ideas.
Still, he grew up, in spite of himself and is headed in a wonderful direction. But, that's my kid.
I've seen so many kids take wrong turns, through no fault of the parents and I've seen kids do it right, in spite of parents.
Sigh. Seems like a crap shoot sometimes.
