Shit! Talk about a coincidence... I was there that day on Venice Beach when he was shooting the first few scenes of the video. I have to see if I can find it but I had my pic taken with him afterwards... I'm a huge fan of his, been a skater since the 8th grade... did the whole amateur contest circuit, trying to go pro... had a sponsor from a good company... and then hyperextend my knee really bad at a contest on a 15 foot vert half pipe... ouch... no more skating... couldn't walk for 2 months... limped hard for 5... I still have problems with it. But I get on my board every now and then and just carve around, doing slappys on the curb.
He kicks ass, but let me tell you how many times he would do one trick over and over and over... No shit, at least 100 times until they thought it was perfect. It was cool just watching, the guy is sick.
They were shooting with a VX-2000 that day. :-)
