I used to live in a poor part of town where there were 3 or 4 ice cream trucks competing for business. I heard that tune for hours on/off all day. It was even worse than the constant cruising of ghetto poseurs showing off their car stereos. Then loud mariachi music in the evenings, since half the street were newly immigrated from mexico, where apparently it is ok to regularly hold partys on your front lawn. Then gunshots for the rest of the night. (both celebratory and hostile) which of course brought the sirens . .
Ice-cream trucks mean you live where many people cannot afford to stock it in the freezer. My
.. if you own a home, and ice cream trucks move into your neigborhood, sell quick because it's a sign of the area going in a bad direction.
