Not in my experience. My best converting sponsor does not have a trial. $19.95 a month, take it or leave it. They join and they stay because the content is fresh and 98% exclusive (besides the packaged live feeds). This summer, while new sales of everything have been slightly depressed (including this sponsor) I'm still collecting 8-10 rebills a day and not worrying about trials etc.
