Before mankind, this god created Angels. A perfect race of beings, except they were essentially slaves. They had to love their maker, and for the most part did.
So this god creautes Humans, that DON'T HAVE to do ANYTHING. We are free to chose. Except he must know how we'd chose. The suffering and carnage we would create .. And in HIS name! Why would he do such a thing? Selfish act of entertainment?
