I would have to say that there can never be a magic age when somebody becomes an adult. I've known 13 year olds that were more mature than 30 year olds and 40 year olds that act like 10 year olds. So 18 is probably as good an age as any other.
AIM hasn't yet released the info on the exact time of infection.
