This is a great idea. One day the US will be progressive enough to accept it, hopefully.
The shame is that at this moment in time, the vocal porn-hating minority can use this story as ammo to back up arguments for stepped-up enforcement of US obsecenity laws, rather than make a plea for government regulation.
This is a great time for an industry to stand together and create such a system by itself. It can only pay off in the long run.
