please explain why is it stupid to attach any accountability to this disaster?

in the days after 9/11 nobody wanted to deal with any accountability or blame, which is understandable under those conditions, but after time has passed Bush and his Administration are being held to the fire.

what if a porn company owner as in the Marc Wallice case knew that a male performer had tested positive and still hired him to work with a girl who was presented with a forged test for the male talent? shouldn't those people be held accountable or should everybody just say 'oh well, can't unring the bell now'?

This isn't the same thing and not a malicious act but it's still an act of negligence no? Does somebody have to commit first degree pre-meditated murder before they are held accoutable? I can do something very stupid and irresponsible like driving golf balls into my neighbor's yard hitting and killing somebody who I didn't know was there and i shouldn't have anybody mad at me nor should I pay some kind of price for my stupidity and negligence?

heheh.........i used that example because i used to that as a kid and one day i did hit a man. Thank god it was in the back and not his temple.
