You can?t count Yahoo out at all. They have partnered with the likes of SBC. When a new customer does a new DSL install, the software forces a personalized YAHOO starting page. There are millions of people that don?t have a clue on how to change their startup page on IE. So by default Yahoo is getting a ton of use, esp for new accounts.
Add to that the web based email service that is bundled with news, weather and the SE for all those new DSL customers and it ads up to a powerful resource for yahoo.
