I know that most people think the main reason people switched away from MPA2 is because of the shaving feature and the resulting bad press, but after switching over multiple MPA2 installations to NATS and discussing things with our clients, we have learned that there were multiple other issues they were having.
For examples features they were looking for that MPA2 did not offer, but also little things like the system not being fully templated, so changing design elements in the resellers area always had to go via Mansion.
The bad press most likely gave some people the last needed reason to move away from MPA2.
I am also sure that MPA2 has quite a few happy customers who need many more reasons to switch to another system.
