As a bonafide nobody who knows everyone mentioned in this lovely bit of drama, let me throw in my worthless opinion about the people brought up.
DH: Very cool guy, kept running into him in Vegas this year. The guy's a machine. I think it was very nice of you to give Nysus a place to stay for a convention, sounds like something you would do.
Jason from vidsvids: Seems to be wary that people who come up and talk to him want something, or are trying to get his favor by being fake. I think he got that impression from me when I first talked to him at DP Tabu party. Still is a nice guy, and a wealth of information that he will gladly make time to regurgitate upon request. Brushed me off to talk to Igor
. I can see someone getting the impression DH did of Vidsvids, intentional or not. Having two drunk people trying to communicate in above kindergarten level of intention is generally a recipe for disaster.
Igor: I've known Igor for a while, and have heard enough stories from people in the business to start my own forum
However, they are not for me to tell. Still, when it is someone you know well getting bad mouthed, whether that person deserves it or not, you tend to want to stick up for them. I think this may have gotten DH into some of this hot water.
Nysus: Don't know him. Objectively it sounds like that you sold out someone who gave you a place to stay, and then asked if you could use their idea for a site. Any way you say it, it sounds horrible. Damage control time...
Daymon, Ben, Reilly: Known them for 15 years. Drank all my Jack Daniels. Fuckers.
Anyways, I don't think there is any valid reason for DH and Vidsvids to not be on amicable terms. You're both decent guys.
