i owned one for the summer after graduating high school, it was a mint 1976 bright orange with a canopy top. My parents stole it from the owner at a garage sale for only $400. The timing belt was the only thing that needed to be replaced, that was like $200 i beleive. i partied like a mad man in that van, it made for a summer to remember... the cooler/fridge was always stocked with long necks.
the one bad thing about it was that in high wind conditions, the aerodynamics of the van pushed it around like a 5 pound weakling.
