KMR... you say "anything goes"? Sorry, anything does not go. Some comments make you enemies you never expected or wanted. Some comments come back to haunt you down the road, when you least expect it. Sometimes it's best to either keep your trap shut, or learn to be a man and apologize for certain dumbass comments, like that one.
