They're trained not to take food from strangers. I doubt many attackers carry tasers. Trained to take a gun out of someone's hand also. Trained for knives. Trained for stick attacks as well. Even trained for multiple attackers.
Also, the one time years back when some ass clown stupidly ignored my "Extreme Danger Property Protected By Police K-9 Trained Attack Dogs" signs, and climbed over the back entrance fence, and then tried to jimmy open the pool door to get in, he was met by not one but 3 German Shepherds.
I don't know what happened to the burgler. We just found lots of blood, torn pieces of clothing and some traces of flesh when we got home.
