Well no shit! Who wouldnt rather have a fresh type in?? But not everyone has a domain name like JJJ's does.
I had dinner with him in Vegas with my other buddies Mature-post and Sleazy dream and we were all in agreement about the bookmark issue. It was undisputed.
But naturally anyone would rather trade bookamrkers in for a fresh type in domain name in the browser.. But not everyone has a domain name like sex.com or pornno.com or adult.com so 99.9% of the sites out there simply dont get this kind of traffic..
The next best thing is traffic from people who have heard about your site and come in from word of mouth, or the bookmarkers who decide to come back because they remember the name of your site.. But no one is gunna just sit around and start typing in domain names at the top of their browser to see what comes up and result in landing on one of our sites.. Thats not realistic.
Saying that someone would rather have a fresh type in domain from a new person over a return surfer or bookmarker is like saying Id rather have a Rolls Royce over my Benz.
Well no shit! But most people dont have access to the Rolls, but the Benz sure is nice! Just like most people dont have access to a fresh type in, but the bookmarker or return customer sure is nice.
