If Bush is re-elected (BRRR!)..I think there will be one eventually.
For Bush to just maintain the STATUS QUO in Iraq, he's going to have to really increase the # of troops there sharply. The former Joint Chief of Staff said he thought we need more than THREE times the current # there now.
With the military already spread so thin all over the world, and if Bush (and this country) decides to stay in Iraq..he would have no other choice but to start drafting folks.
