Desk clerk actually have it a bit easier at motels. Try being maintenance that also has to fill in whenever the motel was short-handed (housekeeping as well as doing the laundry). I'm so glad I'm out of that job. I could tell you nightmares during Miss Kansas week & during hunting season.
