If anything, divy the money up and spread it out amongst the families of the ones who lost their lives over there. If they had children, set up a trust fund for them. If they were married, give the money to their wives...and so on. The POW's will make their own money with book deals (and movie deals if you're Jessica Lynch). Give the money to those who deserve it the most, not the ones that became instant heros because of over-saturated news coverage.
