Wow. You're way off. Saddam was always an enemy of Islamic extremists. He's one of the few secular regimes in the ME. As for Al-Qaeda, they're not very friendly with regimes in the ME. They want to rule the ME and get rid of the infidel regimes in there. Pakistan was the only country who had diplomatic relations with the Taliban if I'm not mistaken. And the 9/11 terrorists where Saudis.

So let me get this straight. Your idea of freeing Iraqis is to invade there country in order to get the terrorists to go into Iraq, turn the country into a breeding ground for terrorists, so they'll kill US troops and Iraqis instead of killing US civilians? I'm sorry but using Iraq and Iraqis as bait this is quite cowardly, I'd be ashamed of my country.
