What's with this shit? I always here black people say "Keep it real" or "I'm keeping it real."
Over the last several years ?bling bling medallions" have become very popular among the very same crowd. Most of these people can't afford the various items that their medallions symbolize.
When was the last time that you saw a black man stick his head out of a gold plated tank and tell you that he is just keeping it real?
More often than not I see these people standing at the bus stop. If they are "keeping it real" then why are they riding the bus with a Cadillac medallion hanging from their chain instead of a city bus?
If you have to walk...be proud and sport a pair of legs.
If you ride a bike....Be proud and hang an old beat up 10 speed around your neck.
I think I am going to start stealing old Toyota and Mazda emblems, putting them on chains, and selling them at local swap meets.
You want reality? There ya have it.
Good morning GFY.
