Wars always offer us very few pretty pictures and a multitude of horrific ones sadly.
Some of you act like this is the first war in history though. If you look at the timeline of events over the past 2000 years, I don't think you can find a single period anywhere when there were no wars going on somewhere.
It seems to be an inherent part of life on this planet, again quite sadly.
There is only so much real estate and everyone wants the prime locations and is willing to kill to get them.
This is the nature of the beasts that we are.
Never forget our species was originally a group of violent apes that had to fight and kill for survival and food. When the apes mutated into homosapiens those genes apparently carried on.
