fast forward to last year - my brother and i were crossing back into Canada, of course i'm pulled over. this time they wanted to look at my laptop. ended up spending over 3 hours going over all my adult stuff, with 2 agents. as soon as they caught wind i was involved in adult, we heard the female agent talking to someone over the phone, saying that they were holding and searching me 'for possible child porn files'. needless to say, after that we were getting seriously worried. went through absolutely everything on my drive. the guy was actually pretty cool, and i think he's the reason i was finally able to leave, *with* my computer. he kept saying, things like, 'yep looks very standard' - i'm sure this guy was an avid porn surfer!

i have not crossed the border since with any sort of computer hardware. and as long as i'm in adult, i never will again. with this latest incident, i'm sure i'm on the mega red-flagged list.

 definitely sucks huge.

i found out in phoenix i'm the Largest traffic sender to the ASACP and I got the wind of the C P stuff from them too.

I don't understand why adult material means psooblble CP? that's the same logic as anyone carrying tobacco also having weed or anyone with asprin having acid.

I have to have a laptop with me when I travel, but from now on I'll be formating it before I come back to canada whipping everything clean.

this is insane - the agent told me they would call by 9 or 10 am - it's now almost 2pm. they're obviously going though EVERY file.
