When I was in college and cash was super tight, I would eat Kraft Mac & Cheese. However, to spice things up sometimes, I would add fresh basil leaves, a sprinkle of feta cheese, and some olives. Voila... Mac & Cheese Greek style. Sometimes, add a little pomodoro sauce and parmagiane and you've got Italian style.
The variations were endless cuz the college budget was super tight. Money may be scarce but my imagination didn't have to be scarce as well.
