50% of the mp3s I download are my favorite tracks off of CDs I actually own.
The other 50% are tracks from CDs Im contemplating buying, and most of the time I DO up buying....
...but how many people would actually go out and buy the 4 disc set when its released, after buying this one?
edit: and with mp3s, no single individual is profitting directly from the sale of the songs in question.
