I usually do. Problem is I work in my loft and the TV I keep on is in my den so if something happens, I can look over through the railing

But I usually just leave it on the same channel that has the Today show and later on the local news. Damn if someone won't call during the day and ask me why I'm watching soap operas, lol! I try to explain that I'm not watching and in fact I'm not even really listening, but they still think I'm nuts.

I've changed the channel to other things, but since I really just have it on as background noise, I never catch any of it, so there's no point.
