The spanking niche is healthy. And there are some great sponsors, if you look around. The trick is traffic; the volumes aren't huge. Good spanking traffic is hard to find in anything more than a trickle.
The Brutal Spankings site from
Epic Cash is converting my spanking search engine and adult blog traffic at about 1:640. They have free hosted galleries with fresh, fairly hard content (i.e., you can see that the girls are really getting spanked.)
Cybernet Bucks has Whipped Ass (hard F/f spanking mostly) as well as Hogtied (hard bondage that often features spanking and whipping also) and Men in Pain (FemDom, pretty hard core). They convert for me at just under 1:1000 and rebills are unusually stable.
Bad Tushy from
Tushy Cash was the first CCBill site I ever found that actually converted and got working rebills. Before that, I thought CCBill was just a traffic eater that would pay off with random signups every 3000-5000 clicks, like some sort of broken slot machine. The spanking is fairly mild, but it converts like mad (usually better than 1:500).
My first and most lucrative spanking sponsor remains
Guba (Gigantic Usenet Binary Archives). Linking to the movies and pictures from
alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.spanking gets me daily sales.
Spank Buxx (the Spanking Online people) has been around forever and their banners are everywhere, so you'd be forgiven for thinking their programs are tired and not worth promoting. You would also be wrong. One reason they are everwhere is that their content is good, and they have some sites that aren't so overexposed. (Right now their FetishFlixx movie download site is really working for me.)
There are some other good ones, but they don't have webmaster referral links, so I'm not telling.
Anybody wants to trade spanking traffic with me before I find you and send you an email, you can link up my directory (
Spank Directory) or my new toplist (
Spanking You Spanking Toplist). The toplist is still under construction and semi-crappy, but it's swapping decent traffic for this low-traffic niche.
