As a business owner I think the importance of remaining anonymous has diminished for most over the past 5 years. Remaining anon in one's own community or town, yes, that is important to many.

but to remain anonymous amongst your fellow webmasters can be kind of suspicious, and that suspicion is warranted in some cases.
