They are simply responding to massive complaints that certain media outlets have gone too far for too long. The Super Bowl incident was an abberation which forced the FCC's hand. It wasn't just about a "boob," but rather an ambush on the most watched program of the year on the most family-safe network during dinner time broadcasted over the airwaves (not just cable). They had to react. The whole thing has to be put in context. The sky isn't falling. Every now and then the FCC has to respond to the demands of the public at large - no matter how silly we at GFY feel about it. The networks put on notice are simply playing it extra safe right now. Things like this are necessary for change to slowly happen.
They censored the word Jesus so they probably are in a state of paranoia.
The FCC is responding to the demands of a small group of religious nuts and sexually frustrated people.
The abberation is those cheerleaders who act like idiots and portray women as nothing more than dumb babes cheering for there men. Yet you don't see me whining and complaining trying to stop such a practice. If the world had to live according to my morals, it wouldn't be fun.
