Hey gang !!
I have a question that I would love to hear from anybody and everybody on either side of this debate ....
My question, quite simply is : Why the hell do so many webmasters insist on calling their dialers "MOVIES" and "VIEWING SOFTWARES" ??
We incorporate dialers on most of our sites, and call them dialers too, and make damn good money from them ...
What I need to know, is would I make "that much better" money by tricking my surfers into downloading my dialer ?? Hmmmmm ...
As a part time surfer, as well as a webmaster, I think I can answer that one on my own ....
My theory is quite simple ... if tricking your surfers is the only way you can make ca$h ... you need to build a new tour, and actually have the content inside your site that you claim to in your tour!
Sure ... claiming to have pics of Britney Spears being fucked by her Doberman may very well increase your signups, but I guarantee you that your retention rate will suck ass, not to mention all the chargebacks from "smart" surfers (and yes they do exist), who figure out that they have been duped !!!
If the day ever comes that I have to "trick" people in order to make money ... I will just turn off my PC instead !!
OK ... I've had my rant for the day ... and I must admit, I FEEL MUCH BETTER ALREADY !!!
Hey, my therapist was right ... getting issues off my chest DOES make me feel much better !!!
I think I am going to go walk in the park, feed the ducks, and smell the flowers...
