no matter how long you've been working out... when you take some time off from doing that work out... your first few days to first week is always going to be a "hey what the hell are you doing to me?" reaction from your body.
recovery time?? depends on how much time off you took in between work outs...
usually..
less than 3 months... takes a couple of days...
3-6 months... at least 5 days...
6 or more.... you can expect it to take a good week and a half.
but that's just me and the way my body works.
i have pretty good "muscle memory"... so it doesn't take long for me to see results when i decide it's time to start training again... and i'm like you... i tend to be a bit anxious in the beginning.....
well... in any event... good luck with getting around.... try soaking... and massage the muscles when you can...(its going to hurt like hell but do it anyway)
