It's always nice to hear that u've taken the intiative to start working out...Problem is, you've gone over board...8 of 30 sets???
Who told u to do that??? 3 sets of 20 reps is plenty for one exercise.
Try doing some cardio first and use light weights until ur body becomes accustomed to working out and then maybe u should consider taking classes or getting a trainer. Sounds like u don't have a clue what ur doing.
As for ur calves right now, they're not injured. It's called DELAYED ONSET MUSCLE SYNDROM...and today and tomorrow will be painful for u. Nothing u can do about it... Just be glad u haven't woken up in the middle of the night with cramps..
