Oh, come on. We all "read between the lines" all day long, and we really couldn't hold a conversation without ellipses in our discussions.
The word unique basically means "nothing else like it." That would seem to include all the places we might have a war.
They say they need deep water to get close enough to practice shelling, but if places close enough to practice shelling are so rare, it would seem that places close enough to shell are equally rare, no?
