So judging from your post BEFORE you edited it so slyly, the statement above clearly makes it seem like you had a problem with "TODAY'S PARENTS"....Not "Parents Today" like after the edit...And it made it seem like you were talking like YESTERDAY'S parents weren't doing the same thing and that is what sparked my comment.
