Sheep following an irresponsible news story that leads people to believe that there is a ban on genital piercing in the US.

You are extremely naive if you believe that politicians are just "protecting children" when they pass these oppresive laws targetting adults.

Maybe you missed this line from the article:

Almost all censorship is done "to protect children". Do you approve of that too?

Larry Flynt went to jail because of unconstitutional laws that were supposedly passed to "protect children". Howard Stern is being attacked to "protect children".

If they want to pass a law to protect children from being abused, they could simply have specified that the law only applies to children. Maybe they will change it now that there is an outcry from the public, but if people like you had your way, it would become law as it is.

Some people are so gullible that they believe whatever they are told by the government.
