Did he seriously quit over getting kicked out from a message board? The arguement with AaronM is one thing, but to quit your job (when it's not like you're changing workplace) and you very well will have to 'see' alot of these people on other boards too...that's just silly. If you want to detach yourself from the bullshit - close your connection and work - if that's not good enough, then just start taking mainstream design work.
This is probably some 'drama' he'll be back for the 28th - and here I am getting all concerned over someone's decisions under the influence!
