That article contradicts itself.. It says first:
"Despite what health officials or farmers say, cooking does not kill these nasty worms, and even if heat did destroy them, the thought of eating cooked filthy parasites is not very appealing."
Then it says:
?no practicable system has yet been devised by which persons who eat imperfectly cooked pork can be protected from the danger of trichinosis.?
So which is it? That combined with the tone of the article and the lack of source makes me doubt it very much. Why haven't we heard about the trichnosis epidemic?
