Don't forget the power of networking. In a biz where it's getting harder and harder to get started.. making a name for yourself will go a long way. Networking is much more than that though, it's attending webmaster shows and local get-togethers.. it's making true "friends". By doing this you'll be a beta tester for a friends new project, you'll get great customer service from these contacts, and maybe even a higher payout.. lastly, being an adult webmaster can be a lonely job, and it's always nice to have a few friends who can relate to what you go through on a daily basis.
