envision a lethargic version of Bill Murray's "Meatballs", set in Japan. the movie was a visual extravaganza of sight and sound accentuated by banal conversation...script and cinematography mutually indignant and exclusive. good if you want to blow a few hours on psuedo-intellectual introspective pulp.
i've watched it thrice so far and i feel more clever and detached with each viewing.
