A friend of my boyfriend gave him a series of 7 video tapes to watch a month or so ago, and I was absolutely blown away by these tapes. My entire fundamental belief system of evoloution was challenged.
Finally, someone who believed in the bible went through and gave some scientific evidence in support of creation, not just a little, but about 14 hours worth of it.
I found this very inspiring. The evidence is so overwhelming, it is amazing that they still teach evolution.
See, evolution, despite anyone's feelings, is a religion. It has a set of doctrines, beliefs, etc. There is an enormous amount of evidence that is contrary to evolution
(For instance, artifacts that were made by humans found WITHIN lumps of coal. Well if that stuff formed millions of years ago, how did this stuff get INSIDE solid chunks?)
BUT, most scientists that are funded with grants will lose their funding if they put forth theories AGAINST evolution. Teachers have been fired for teaching AGAINIST evolution.
So what does that leave you? A HELL of a lot of evidence that has been supressed, or is not put out in mainstream culture because of this system.
Those dinasaur/human tracks. I saw on the tape that one of the original men that were excavating the dig was there when NOVA was filming the dinasaur tracks. Right behind them, they were excavating a chunk that showed human footprints interspaced with dinasaur prints, some with human footprints ON TOP of dinosaurs, so they walked afterwards.
NOVA refused to film it, saying they saw "NO EVIDENCE" that humans and dinosaurs co-exisited. This is how strongly evolution is entrenched, and that evidence will be overlooked that is contrary to it.
I believed in evolution. I figured that 6 days was figurative, maybe each day was 1,000's of years. I don't believe in evolution any more.
