I had a rabbit who had the same symptoms and then somehow got better on his own and lived another six years. Weird.

Just FYI: If it should ever happen that you're thinking of giving your pets aspirin, DON'T. Most animals can't handle human medications, and aspirin is known to kill dogs and cats. (One of my good firends is a vet. You won't believe how many animals she's had to put down because their owners gave the critters aspirin in the hopes of helping.
