Zaha --
If you're wondering why tempers are hot about this subject, wonder no more. I think a little education is in order here, to make you see the light (as it were).

Paqrat et al:
The thing about these kinds of programs is that they end up costing webmasters money. Any surfer that is using such a program that allows them to auto-download pics from someone's site is also using that person's bandwidth without any chance of that person making a dime. These programs can in effect serve to damage the entire industry. Do you understand so far?

Public domain --
As others have stated here, it simply doesn't exist, and here's why: I am a content producer as many of you know. Now, if I were to give written permission for anyone to use my images of my own models, just the fact that I had to GIVE PERMISSION negates the concept of "public domain", as permission had to be given. Thus, all the images that are floating around on newsgroups etc were produced by someone, right? If that "someone" did not give you written permission, then you have no right to display that picture on a website. See? No public domain exists for that very reason. Get permission to post every single pic you use, no exceptions. Are you still with me here?

On to your attitude:
Although WizDom came on a bit strong (understandibly so), you (Zaha) come off as one of these newbie webmasters that thinks he has this industry all figured out and you don't have to listen to anyone, even veteran webmasters that have had a hand in forming the business into what it is today. I'll tell you right now, the smartest question you could ever ask right now is "okay, I'm sorry....what should I do in order to get started the right way?"

If I lost you somewhere along the way, ask on this thread and I'll try again to make things clearer. If you choose not to take the advice so generously given, then by all means good luck with your dishonest venture. I've seen many many people crash and burn on the course you seem to be wanting to take, none have ever succeeded in the long term. Don't delude yourself into thinking that you will be the first...you won't.
